Not as nice as other Marriotts however-staff made up for the difference. Benson, one of the shuttle driver, exceeded all expectations getting me to the airport on an afternoon rife with protesters who literally blocked airport access on New Years Day 2024.

300 dollars was taken immediately on checking in without my being advised this was going to happen and when I queried it as it came through on my phone from my bank as I arrived in the room. I went straight back down to reception and was told it was in case I broke something or put anything on my card and would be refunded in 5 to 10 working days. I FIND this disgusting that I was not told more money would be taken on checking in and would have to wait 5 to 10 days for a refund!

So expensive, paid over $400 for one night! Didnt feel worth it! Staff at front desk couldnt open a members account for me, made me download an app with bad wifi to do it and then still couldnt instruct me how to open the account.

This hotel will be my choice for overnight stays when flying in/out of JFK. First time staying here was an excellent experience. We arrived wore out and beyond fatigued from an 8hr overseas flight. Staff were fabulous, room et bath were large. Amazing night's sleep!! Upscale breakfast. Small open food bar for pizza, wine, beer, salads, etc. was available when we arrived at 9-930p and was just what we needed! Very important, the shuttle service was punctual, approx 10 minute drive from airport, and available 24hrs. Exceeded our expectations in every way.
